What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Let us know if you need flexibility around your flight times and we'll do our best to accommodate.

How many guests can Casa Kasbah host?

The estate comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across three houses and five bedrooms: Kasbah — Private Hilltop Villa (2 bedrooms), The Casita — Jungle Guesthouse (2 bedrooms), and a second, simpler casita with two twin beds. Book one house or the whole hilltop.

Are pets allowed?

No, we're not able to accommodate pets at this time.

What's included with a stay?

Every stay includes the private pool, ocean and jungle views, Starlink and fiber internet, air conditioning, and on-site staff. Airport transfers and a private chef can be arranged on request.

Where is Casa Kasbah located?

Casa Kasbah sits on a gated hilltop in Mal País, on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, about 300 meters up the road from the beach and about five minutes from the restaurants of Santa Teresa and Mal País. The nearest airport is Cóbano (about 25 minutes). San José and Liberia airports are each about 4 hours by road.

Do I need a 4x4 to get to Casa Kasbah?

You don't need a 4x4 to reach Mal País or Santa Teresa, because the roads are paved. The road up the mountain to the houses is unpaved, so a 4x4 makes the climb easier and is best in the rainy season. A 4x2 is fine in the dry and green seasons. We can arrange transfers.
